In 2021, AXE Informatique launched a call for tenders to modernize its visual identity and website. After reviewing various proposals, the Toclic agency was selected to lead this project.
The missions and objectives were as follows:
- Redesign the visual identity by modernizing the logo and the company’s image.
- Simplify the site structure for a better understanding of the services offered.
- Complete overhaul of the website, aligned with the new graphic charter.
- Optimize natural referencing (SEO) to increase online visibility.
The goal of AXE Informatique’s teams was to create a modern, accessible website compatible with mobile devices and compliant with current standards. They also wanted to implement a dedicated client area.
Strategy
Develop a functional, elegant, and modern website.
At the start of the project, we established a detailed roadmap and brief for each task. Weekly meetings were scheduled to track task progress, exchange ideas, and validate steps, both for the visual identity and the website.
The first phase of the project focused on redesigning the visual identity. Our graphic designer created an initial brief and quickly developed preliminary concepts, refining them through discussions and meetings. The logo and graphic identity were developed and perfected to achieve the final result.
Simultaneously, an SEO audit was conducted to identify keyword opportunities. We then worked on a complete overhaul of the site structure to enhance visibility and navigation.
The second phase involved creating graphic mockups for the homepage and internal pages. We chose to design the website using WordPress. Once the mockups were approved, the developers integrated the graphic elements, ensuring they were optimized for all devices, and carried out CSS and PHP development. The integrators then added editorial content, images, and videos.
Next, the project manager set up a testing checklist to perform final tests and corrections on the site. Just before the website launch, redirects were implemented, an Analytics solution was installed, and cookie management features were set up.
Finally, we completed the SEO mission. Our teams wrote meta descriptions and titles, formatted the texts, adjusted the architecture, and implemented internal linking. We also worked on site loading speed at the time of launch.
